HOW TO STAND FROM THE CROWD (PART TWO)

Sometimes, we may feel that we have to do the big things in life in order to make a difference, but in my own experience, I have found out that it is the little things that we do on a consistent basis that are usually the most powerful. Never relent on that small thing you have started, ''you knew it yourself ",for tomorrow it will turn out big. In our society today, some people who have made it, undergo lots of experience before they stand out, it is not just a magic.

WHAT TO DO IN ORDER TO STAND OUT.

1.DEVELOP A GOOD LISTENING SKILL.

Some individuals are not truly a good listener. Being a good listener helps us gain more from being a great talker. Always be interested in listening and writing down points and ideas in every group discussion. Whenever you can, ask open ended questions in every conversation you find yourself in, whether in school, church, or social gathering, do not feel ashamed or have a low self-esteem. Thinking on what people will say, even if your questions looks stupid or not because the more you ask the more information you get on what you don't know before.

2.BE A GREAT THINKER.

Be a great thinker, think out of the box, don't just relax in one particular thing.Be a problem solver. A great thinker helps in resolving difficult matters.

3.TRY TO BE INVOLVED

In any organization or group you finds yourself into either church, school, or any social gathering, get yourself involved in the activities within the environment. Do not get involved because you want something in return, but because you want to contribute, to help bring out ideas to the development of the society. People will respect you and acknowledge you for it, look at you and treat you differently. And this is just added to the personal satisfaction of getting involved and contributing to something you believe in. At the process you learn to become a leader and not just a participant.

4.MAKE A PROPER USE OF YOUR OWN TIME

Some people waste their time on one nonsense or the other. As the Bible says ''There is time for everything. "In every activities of the day, make out time for your own individual personal and professional development. Do not engage your time in any activity that will never bring any good in your nearest future, because what you do today, will tell what your future will be tomorrow. Have a time to read your Bible everyday in order to help you grow up spiritually. Have time in whatever that fits into your lifestyle and schedule. In doing that, try and meditate everyday whenever you want to sleep so that you will not be disturbed by anyone. By doing so, they will think that you are sleeping and this will help you go ahead of others.

5.FORGET YOUR BACKGROUND

Over looking your background, lots of people are full of low self-esteem because of their family background they comes from. And these usually affect their behavior and their way of thinking. Let me bring this to your notice, so many people that made it today were not born with silver spoon, some of them suffered to be what they are today. So therefore, forget about your background, or what people says about you. What they said about you does not matter to you.Just focus on who you are and bring out that talent which God has deposited in you and work on it, even if people does not appreciate it today, don't mind,i bet you tomorrow will turn out right.

6.BE TEACHABLE

Don't be afraid to teach others what God has deposited in you. People do get afraid of that, why? Because they think that when they teach, someone else might go and copy it. But that's not true because no matter how hard someone tries to copy another person's potentials, he/she can never be original. But you that have it is the original because that's what God has deposited in you. Everyone has a God given talent whether big or small. For you to grow fast in that you have is to bring it out for people to see. The more you teach it to others the more you are developing yourself.

7.LEARN HOW TO SOCIALIZE

The word ''Socialize"means to adapt or process of living with other human being and pattern with their behavior. Anyone that does not have the spirit of socialism, then have the spirit of rejection. We need to socialize with people that have the same or similar things that you have.

8.DON'T BE TOO PROUD.

Open up to some difficult issues that you can't answer. Ask those that are above or ahead of you. Have a mentor you can entrust, who will help and direct your path to success. If you are a singer, find someone in that field that is above you,or a business man, look for men that have made it to direct you. In everything you do, you must have a mentor.
